General help/advice

My business idea is a food product which I've taken to Business Link. They all think it's a great idea and have placed me on a High Growth Programme advising that my first customers should be Waitrose and/or Marks & Spencer. My idea is easily copied so I'm anxious to get branding spot on before I launch which is what I'm working on at the moment with graphic designers. I'm also working on a short term business plan as I expect things to change dramatically over the next 12 months.

Can anyone tell me how much mark up supermarkets expect to make on products?

I've also been thinking about outsourcing when the idea takes off and have got the Black Book of Outsourcing which is fascinating, but I can't find any subject specific info on the food industry. My product involves the packing of whole fresh vegetables, but no cooking, which means that I'd not be able to make up batches in advance to sell. I also have a lot of other similar product ideas that I would like to follow up with and outsourcing would give me the time and space to work on the new ideas.Where would you recommend that I outsource something like this to?

Also, what do people think of business angels? I have no money to put into my business and am wondering where I would go to get help with this kind of market.
